Distribute.IT had recently become Jaydeans preferred domain supplier. Their 24 hour support lines and customised systems were to ensure future growth of the services we could extend to our domain owners.
As a result of an intrusive and destructive attack on the Distribute IT network, domain management has been unavailable for 2 weeks. We have communicated with Distriubute IT in the mean time and utilised TPP Internet for any new domains during this period.
Today the Distrubite IT website announced the NetRegistry take over. We have contacted NetRegistry today to confirm the future of our domains and management facilities. NetRegistry have informed us that they are working with AuDA and Distribute.IT so they can provide management facilities for domains in the shortest possible time. This is currently advised to be available within 24 hours (so eta is Saturday).
Please note that your websites are NOT in danger. The intrusion that happened with Distribute IT's hosting clients, does not affect the websites we host. Our hosting is primarily with Dreamhost in California USA, and has been for over 5 years.
Once the dust has settled and we have been safely re-homed with NetRegistry, we will release another public update on our site.
